I am a lifestyle family, portrait, and newborn photographer located in Arvada, Colorado. I love trying to freeze those sweet moments in-between the posed shots as they are always the most raw and genuine. My goal is to make your photo session fun and engaging because I know all to well how much work you put into getting you and your family photo ready! I'm Jess

Originally from the East Coast, we packed up and moved to Colorado several years ago in search of sunshine and adventure. I fell in love with the natural beauty around me and became obsessed with capturing my children growing and exploring in this magical place. I have three amazing kiddos of my own and know all too well how fast things go. I realized I wanted to share my passion for beautiful photos and capturing all of those sweet childhood moments before they are gone. During your family shoot or portrait session I will assist and direct you through posing and get to know you and your family to make the experience as comfortable and natural as possible. My goal is to incorporate both posed and natural moments so that you will have a variety of images to choose from and cherish. I describe my editing style as creamy and neutral and sometimes a little moody.

Jess Perry_lifeinphotos was so wonderful to work with. She gave some (much needed) guidance and was so sweet with the girls to keep them engaged. We took our photos at a small public green space across from our neighborhood. In just 45 minutes she captured wonderful moments of us and our girls.
